13th Berlin Summer School "Psychiatry as a Science and as a Profession"
 
Organized by Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Charité Campus Mitte, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin
Supported by the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, Humboldt University In collaboration with the Association for the Improvement of Mental Health Programmes
 
Date / Place  August 25th – 30st, 2013, Berlin (Germany)
 
Objectives
  • Updating knowledge about advances of neurosciences
  • Provision of skills related to research and professional advancement in psychiatry
Target audience
  • Medical doctors and psychologists (two years before or after the end of postgraduate training)
  • Candidates from eastern and south-eastern European countries are particularly welcome to apply
  • with strong interest and experiences in both research and patient care
 
Applications
Please send
  • a brief CV with list of publications / copies of own publications where possible
  • a motivation letter including a statement about your research interests
  • a certificate of proficiency in English
  • a letter of recommendation from the head of your department, or from the president of the national psychiatric society

Participants are also invited to present their research as a poster or talk at the
12th Charité Conference on Emotional Neuroscience, taking place Aug 30 st - 31st.
 
Stipends covering accommodation costs are generously funded by the Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft and Pfizer.
